Three months have elapsed since a viral epidemic decimated 99.9% of the global population, transforming those infected into ravenous undead. In the UK, a group of surviving soldiers and civilians have found shelter in a remote military barracks. Life in this altered world is harsh and unforgiving, but a glimmer of hope emerges when they receive a high-level communication from a coastal military base, promising a safe haven elsewhere in Europe. However, just as rescue seems within reach, the barracks are overrun by the undead. The remaining soldiers and civilians must now embark on a journey to the coast to uncover the truth behind the message. Their dangerous trek leads them through a perilous, death-stricken landscape, where the undead are numerous and roving bandits enforce their own cruel version of law. What ensues is a descent into chaos and a desperate struggle against overwhelming odds for the survival of humanity.
