Johan, a tough cop from Gothenburg, gets caught in a gunfight with a group of jewel thieves. When the chaos subsides, a robber, betrayed and shot by his own partner, and an innocent bystander lie dead. Three people, among them Helen, point to the notorious criminal Leo Gaut as the partner of the deceased robber. Gaut quickly begins to intimidate the witnesses, leaving it up to Johan, the courageous officer, to protect them.
