Yuko Takeuchi, a mystery novelist, receives a letter from Ai Hashimoto’s character, Kubo, a university student and avid reader of her work. Kubo’s letter mentions hearing strange noises in her current apartment. Intrigued by this, Yuko decides to delve into the mystery. Together, they uncover the histories of previous tenants, which include unsettling events such as a suicide and a murder.
