After being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor and given only three to six months to live, aspiring actor and seasoned con artist Shen Mo (played by Shen Teng) chooses to dedicate his remaining time to more meaningful pursuits that benefit society. Although he has previously assisted the police with various cases while maintaining a low profile, he now decides to take a more active role. Together with his tech-savvy partner Du Yu (portrayed by Du Xiaoyu), Shen Mo plans to infiltrate local criminal organizations. Among these are a gang led by Yao Dezhi (Liu Xiaobao), which deals in counterfeit medical supplies, and another headed by gangster Jia (Xu Ruoqi), known for conducting phone scams.
