In 1920s Shanghai, Ma Zouri and Xiang Feitian create a famous beauty contest known as the Flowers Competition. The city’s high society gathers for this grand occasion, but when Wanyan Ying is surprisingly crowned the winner, it triggers a chain of unfortunate events that alter their fates.
