As his tribe relocates to track the migrating bison, young Sioux boy Yakari embarks on a solo journey to pursue Little Thunder, a wild mustang reputed to be impossible to tame. Venturing far from his home and into the dangerous land of the fearsome cougarskins, Yakari, alongside Little Thunder, embarks on an epic adventure, ultimately finding their way back home.
