In a city shrouded by thorns and drenched in rain, wolf gargoyles adorn the towers. Within one of these towers, a young woman named Veronique is held captive by her wicked step-siblings. They are the sole survivors of a city that has slumbered for a millennium, sustained by an army of mechanical servants, while the rest of the city’s inhabitants lie dormant and decaying. Veronique has a sister, a wolf sibling from whom she was separated at birth. She has always felt a connection to the wolf spirits residing in the thorny forest, and she is about to discover the reason behind their call.
