In the 1940s, a young girl and her brother experience the transition to adulthood while staying at their great grandmother’s home in Virginia. Following a family tragedy, the siblings relocate from New York to their great grandmother’s farm in Virginia. There, the girl gains a deeper appreciation for the land and heritage that influenced her father’s literary works, while also embarking on a journey of self-discovery, embracing the love of family, and realizing the strength of genuine belief.
