A motorcycle officer is still troubled by the painful memory of being separated from his father during his childhood. After narrowly escaping death in a severe accident and being wrongfully accused of police misconduct, his life unravels. Surprisingly, he discovers a glimmer of hope through a young boy with a terminal illness, who brings him back together with his father after nearly three decades. In tribute to the boy, he establishes the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
