When cartoonist Hyun-joon falls for Da-hong, a fan of his work, it sparks a classic conflict between their families, who hail from opposing regions. Hyun-joon is from the politically progressive Honam area (comprising North and South Jeolla), whereas Da-hong is from the conservative Yeongnam area (encompassing North and South Gyeongsang). As they announce their plans to wed, they face a multitude of obstacles that jeopardize their joy.
