“White Water” follows the journey of a seven-year-old African American boy living in the racially divided town of Opelika, Alabama, in 1963. Captivated by the idea of tasting the water from a fountain designated for white people only, he embarks on a daring mission to achieve the seemingly impossible: taking a sip from that forbidden fountain.
