For more than four decades, Germantown and Martin Luther King High Schools were fierce adversaries. Recently, due to a financial crisis, Philadelphia had to let go of over 4,000 staff members and shut down 37 schools, Germantown High being one of them. Consequently, Germantown is now forced to unite with its old rival, King. In the face of daunting challenges, a 27-year-old rookie head coach and a newly appointed principal strive to motivate young men from challenging backgrounds to unite and support one another in pursuit of a brighter future.
