Carter, a teenager dealing with personal issues, spends some time with a friend of his father’s and begins to show interest in her son, Danny. When school resumes after the weekend, Carter, who is popular at school, tells Danny he doesn’t want to be associated with him in that setting. Despite this, their connection deepens outside of school, and Danny eventually falls for Carter. After Danny faces an attack, their romantic relationship blossoms, but the question remains whether it can endure.
