Waikiki Brothers is a struggling band facing a dead-end. Following a disheartening performance, the saxophonist decides to leave, leaving the trio to carry on their journey. They eventually find themselves in the lead singer’s hometown, once a bustling hot spring destination in the 1980s. However, their homecoming is overshadowed by lingering doubts, past and present failures, a romance that didn’t last, joblessness, and misfortune.
