Andy Taggert, portrayed by Johnny Whitworth, originally headed to Hollywood with dreams of becoming an actor. However, after several years, he ends up as Vick Velour, starring in adult films. Feeling disheartened and stuck, Andy leaves the set and ends up in a psychiatric facility. His distant parents retrieve him and bring him to their retirement community in Arizona, where his problems seem to fade away—until his past unexpectedly resurfaces.
