Eight college friends decide to spend their Halloween weekend at a “Haunted Rental” located in a secluded town. There, they engage in a game of Truth or Dare, which is said to have been responsible for the deaths of seven teenagers many years ago. Initially, the game is fueled by vodka and seems like harmless fun, but it soon takes a dark turn as the dares become increasingly perilous and the truths threaten to fracture their friendships. When participants try to back out of the escalating challenges, they face fatal consequences, quickly realizing that they must complete the dare, or the dare will complete them. As the number of casualties rises, the remaining friends must race against time to outwit and survive the seemingly simple game of Truth or Dare.
