In this 1986 comedy, three out-of-work silent film actors, played by Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short, are mistaken for real heroes by a small Mexican village under threat from a notorious bandit. The villagers, believing the trio to be the valiant characters they portray on screen, enlist their help to fend off the villain.
