Observing Lupe lounging at home in her robe and slippers, one would never suspect that she was a rock star in the 1980s. The days of performing, fame, and triumph are long behind her. Her agoraphobia keeps her confined indoors, relying completely on her mother, Paquita. Paquita, a warm-hearted and superstitious Mexican woman, not only looks after Lupe but also her teenage grandson. However, Paquita is aware that her time is limited, and she is determined to see her daughter reclaim her life before she departs.
