An ancient Nordic spirit selects a morally compromised priest to capture the soul of a woman and present her as an offering to The Old One, hoping to achieve its own redemption. The woman, torn between her Pagan Asatru roots and her ties to The Church, must find a way to withstand the malevolence of those she once trusted. Meanwhile, the Vord, her spiritual protector, endeavors to lead them all toward redemption. However, even this guardian may experience the bitterness of remorse, where forgiveness could have been a much sweeter path.
