Following a string of unfortunate events, such as the passing of his father-in-law, Robert and his wife Maia decide to leave London and return to her childhood residence. While exploring the attic, Robert stumbles upon an ancient portrait of a man who looks exactly like him. This discovery leads him on a quest to uncover the identity of this enigmatic lookalike, referred to only as the visitor. Soon, Robert comes to the chilling realization that wherever the visitor appears, death is not far behind.
