In a rundown part of her city, young Enola Penny becomes captivated by an apparently deserted theater. One evening, she notices the entrance is slightly open and, driven by curiosity, she ventures inside. Within the shadowy, dilapidated hall, she witnesses a performance like no other. The show is hosted by a creepy human puppet named Peg Poett, who guides Penny through six strange stories: A couple in the isolated French Pyrenees encounters a seductive witch; A suspicious lover faces the fury of a partner pushed to the brink; An unfaithful husband’s Freudian dreams blur the boundary between fantasy and reality; The terrors of the real world are seen through a child’s perspective; A woman addicted to others’ memories satisfies her craving through the vitreous fluid of her victims’ eyes; And a couple’s twisted love for sweets takes a dark turn.
