At a bus station, Yura, a taxi driver from the countryside, encounters the attractive Svieta. She hires him to transport her and her mother to Pryputni, an isolated Ukrainian village. Enticed by the offer of payment and Svieta’s alluring attire, Yura is unaware that his stay in Pryputni will extend beyond his initial expectations.
