This half-hour animated film, suitable for the entire family, is adapted from the beloved book by Julia Donaldson with illustrations by Axel Scheffler. “The Snail and the Whale” is a cherished classic that tells the story of an adventurous young snail eager to explore the globe. Despite the other snails’ advice to remain in place, she sends out a request for a “Lift wanted around the world.” Her plea is eventually answered by a massive grey-blue humpback whale, who takes her on a journey across the oceans.
