In the quaint town of Steeple Falls, known for its lucrative Halloween customs, the quirky Frank Carlyle operated a horror-themed store. His grandson, Richard, a widower, reluctantly comes back from Boston with his children, the clever Ian and the mischievous Claire, to sort out the inheritance. Ian soon realizes that their great-grandfather’s home is genuinely haunted, and not merely by the infamous Zachariah Kull, the historical owner who was executed by burning.
