Following the triumph of her debut horror novel, Jessie is hailed by the literary community as a potential successor to Stephen King. Her editor eagerly anticipates her next work, but Jessie is grappling with writer’s block. Fearing she might become a one-hit wonder, she retreats to her late aunt’s secluded cabin in the woods, hoping to spark inspiration for her new book. Having not been there for many years, Jessie has no recollection of her childhood summers spent at the cabin or in the nearby forest. However, as night descends on her first evening alone, her memories start to resurface. A sinister presence lingers in the cabin, seemingly observing Jessie’s every move, a presence she has always feared. A sequence of strange, erotic, and frightening events unfolds, compelling Jessie to question her grasp on reality.
