Martha Plant, a socially awkward telemarketer, is struggling both professionally and personally as she mourns the loss of her parents. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she befriends Sadie Mayflower, a lively homeless woman with dissociative identity disorder. Martha soon realizes that having a friend with multiple personalities can be more complicated than she anticipated.
