The film narrates the tale of the legendary basketball player “Pistol” Pete Maravich during his eighth-grade year. Despite being part of the varsity basketball team at Daniel High School, he faces significant challenges that hinder his ability to play. His sole source of encouragement comes from his father, Press Maravich, a former professional basketball player.
