Such superstitions have fueled ancient folklore about hauntings and possessions. In 2012, a story about a supposedly cursed mirror caught the media’s attention. Both the Daily Mail and Huffington Post covered how the new owners of an antique mirror experienced a string of misfortunes, financial troubles, eerie apparitions, and life-threatening illnesses. Now, writer and director Edward Boase has adapted this chilling tale into a film featuring Jemma Dallender (known for “I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE 2”), Joshua Dickinson, and Nate Fallows (from “Whitechapel”) as roommates who purchase the same ominous antique on eBay.
