When Sir John Falstaff seeks some amusement, he pens letters to two married women, Mistress Ford and Mistress Page. Upon discovering the identical letters, the women conspire to play a few tricks on the knight to give him a taste of his own medicine. However, Mistress Ford’s husband, who is extremely suspicious, is trying to extract details about the supposed affair from Falstaff. At the same time, the Pages’ daughter, Anne, is being pursued by several admirers.
