To resolve the mystery of numerous disappearances, a determined detective, a grieving senator, and a doubtful prison warden consent to a live TV interview with Jim Gardener, a convicted serial killer, in return for the whereabouts of his other victims. During the broadcast, Gardener confronts journalist Pierce Lawrence and discloses that several of the abducted girls are still alive and held captive. Gardener exploits this revelation to manipulate Pierce, along with the warden, senator, and detective, triggering a devious scheme that leaves them all vying for control.
