After breaking free from a reformatory, Reinaldo navigates the challenging streets of Havana during the late 1990s, a particularly difficult period for Cuban society. As he roams, he is accompanied by a mix of hope, disillusionment, rum, humor, and, most prominently, hunger. His journey takes a turn when he encounters Magda and Yunisleidy, fellow survivors of the harsh environment. In their embrace, he seeks to transcend the physical and moral destitution around him, exploring the depths of love, passion, tenderness, and unrestrained intimacy.
