“The Joke Thief” follows the story of Simon McCabe, a stand-up comedian who has spent 35 years bringing laughter to others. Known for being the life of the party, Simon now finds himself exhausted, unhappy, and nearly forgotten, largely due to his reputation for stealing jokes, which has kept him from catching a big break. On one pivotal night, a fellow comedian and longtime friend persuades a comedy club owner to offer Simon a chance to perform, giving him one final opportunity for redemption.
