In Buenos Aires, 25-year-old Exe finds himself unemployed and uninterested in seeking new work. His neighbors and friends continue to strike him as peculiar as ever. Online, he connects with Alf, a young man from Mozambique who shares his dissatisfaction with his job and is contemplating following Archie, another young man who has escaped into the jungle. Amidst the thick forest, Archie follows a trail of ants back to their nest. One ant strays and encounters Canh, a Filipino, perched atop a massive mound of earth, who is preparing to return to his unique and beautiful hometown, where he also endures an unsatisfying job.
