Set in 1941, the Japanese assault on Pearl Harbor has left American spirits shattered. In response, President Franklin D. Roosevelt makes a daring decision to boost national morale by launching a bombing raid on Tokyo. Following the successful mission, a squadron of the US Air Force is compelled to make an emergency landing in China. The squadron’s leader, Jack Turner (played by Emilie Hirsch), narrowly escapes death and is saved by Ying (portrayed by Crystal Liu), a local widow determined to protect him from the Japanese forces occupying the area.
