Cassie, a 13-year-old with a Gothic style, is attempting to find her place at her new school. To amuse herself, she pulls a variety of pranks on the popular students and her younger brother, Max. During a visit to a Halloween shop in search of fresh mischief, she stumbles upon a small book titled “The Evil Thing.”
