In 645 AD, Emperor Li of the Tang Dynasty initiates a campaign against Goguryeo, an ancient Korean kingdom. As the Tang forces achieve successive victories, they advance towards Ansi, a fortress under the command of General Yang. Despite being forsaken by his nation and vastly outnumbered, the courageous general rallies his troops, both men and women, to stand against the Tang army alone.
