Mari Hirakawa, who is of mixed Chinese and Japanese heritage, grew up as the daughter of a Karate instructor. From a young age, she was compelled to train under her father’s guidance, which led to a deep-seated aversion to Karate. Her sole desire has been to sell the dojo once her father passed away. After his death, Mari dreams of a liberated life, but her lawyer reveals a surprising twist: her father bequeathed only 49% of the dojo to her, with the remaining 51% going to Chan Keung, one of his least successful students. This unexpected partnership leads to conflict, and Chan presents Mari with a challenge—if she can win a match in a recognized martial arts competition, he will willingly transfer his share of the dojo to her. Mari faces a tough decision that could alter the course of her life.
