In 1888 Egypt, Flinders Petrie succeeded in entering the tomb of King Amenemhat III, a prosperous ruler from the Middle Kingdom. After a year of excavation, he gazed into the ancient king’s burial site, only to discover it had been completely emptied. Now, four specialists have been assembled to revisit the case and unravel the enigma.
