Thirteen-year-old Micah has faced a tumultuous life from the start. Having never met her father, she lost her mother to cancer a few years back and more recently endured the death of her older sister, Erin. Five months into her orphanhood, her cousin Noah and Uncle Tom welcome her into their home. Initially, everything appears to be normal, but soon things take a dark turn. Micah starts experiencing blackouts, episodes of “missing time,” and other eerie supernatural occurrences. As these events escalate into violence, Micah and those around her come to the unsettling conclusion that a malevolent force is targeting her, with the intent to harm her and her loved ones.
