After their sibling Frank is murdered by a criminal, Bob, Emmett, and Gray Dalton become part of the local sheriff’s office. However, feeling betrayed by the justice system, they embark on a life of crime, targeting trains and other valuables over a two-year period in the early 1890s. In a bid to surpass the infamous Jesse James, they make a daring attempt to simultaneously rob two banks in October 1892, leading to disastrous consequences.
