For four decades, the close-knit community on Arthur Avenue has joyfully illuminated Christmas luminaries, but this cherished tradition is put on hold when Matt Norman (Ty Wood), a local teenager, is hospitalized urgently requiring a heart transplant. As his parents, Ann (Teri Polo) and Mike (Paul Essiembre), keep a vigil by his side, fervently hoping for a miracle, a donor is located. Meanwhile, in Detroit, another mother (Tess Harper) is grieving at her own son’s bedside. In a heartfelt gesture, Matt’s neighbors come together to pay tribute to him in the most meaningful way they know, potentially playing a part in his recovery.
