Believing he’s set to participate in Los Angeles’ prestigious Platinum Scissors competition, Scottish hairdresser Crawford (played by Craig Ferguson) departs from Glasgow with a film crew to document the occasion. Upon discovering that he’s only a spectator, Crawford is determined to steal the spotlight and become the center of attention. His formidable rival is the unlikable Norwegian, Stig, who is as rigid as hair gel. The film features humorous cameo appearances by Drew Carey and others in this comedic mockumentary.
