Drawing inspiration from ancient designs found along the Silk Road and a mysterious natural force known as the Origin, Zhang Meng crafted Arti-C, a formidable mechanical being composed of wood and metal. His creation incited fear, leading to accusations of treason and his eventual execution. Before his demise, Zhang Meng entrusted the Arti to his son, Mo, who commands the wooden automaton, and his daughter, Tong, a confident swordswoman. Now adults, the siblings embark on a dangerous journey across the desert to find the fabled city of Loulan, where they hope to uncover the source of the Origin. However, with royal ambitions in play and a secretive tribe guarding the Origin, the Zhangs face significant challenges. As the impending conflict looms, they must question whether they are fighting for the right cause.
