When wealthy entrepreneur Ted Billings (played by Glenn Morshower) betrays his associates in an arms transaction, he opts to secure his safety by hiring protection. He recruits Eugene “Vash” Vasher (portrayed by Lou Diamond Phillips), a mercenary available for hire. Vash soon finds himself defending Billings from attacks coming from every direction, despite his personal dislike for the businessman, who harbors a secret agenda. Amidst the gunfights and pursuits, Vash reconnects with Emily (Yancy Butler), Billings’ head of security and Vash’s former lover, who turns out to be more complex than she initially seems.
