Juan Garcia is a young man on the brink of adulthood, residing in an area dominated by gangs. He looks up to two very different figures: his sister Angie, a single mother striving to make her mark in the predominantly white corporate sector, and his uncle Manny, a former gang member who has transitioned into acting, often portraying gangsters since his release from jail.
