A grieving captain sets out on his last voyage at the helm of an old cargo ship. The ship’s small crew, disillusioned and unhappy with their existence in the vastness of space, strives to carry out a successful mission. However, the ship seems to have its own agenda. An onboard “accident” soon necessitates a detour to Somnus, an abandoned asteroid station in a neglected part of the solar system. There, they uncover a colony inhabited by a mysterious and malevolent cult with sinister plans for Earth. The crew’s hope for refuge on Somnus quickly turns into a struggle for survival against the colonists, as they confront the potential end of humanity. As terrifying revelations about Earth’s fate come to light, the captain is forced to confront his own inner demons, leading to a dramatic and thrilling finale.
