In his directorial debut, Marcelo Briem Stamm presents a provocative and unsettling story of romance and deceit. The film follows Manuel (played by Patrico Ramos), an attractive man from a middle-class background who, disillusioned by a past relationship and weary of solitude, encounters Julio (portrayed by Mario Veron), a rugged and solitary young man without a job, in an online chat room. Their virtual connection soon leads to a face-to-face meeting, where an intense physical attraction quickly develops. Despite the frequent and fulfilling sexual encounters, both men struggle with issues of intimacy, trust, and the fear of emotional pain, making them reluctant to fully commit. As their relationship unfolds, they begin to share secrets from their pasts, but it’s unclear whether these confessions are genuine, fabricated, or entirely false. The film explores themes of truth, identity, and love, culminating in a romantic and passionate drama/thriller with a surprising and oddly satisfying ending.
