Ty, a unique and somewhat naive designer sneaker, has never experienced life beyond the plush confines of his velvet-lined shoebox. When his sister is taken by a dubious collector, Ty is compelled to embark on a journey through New York City to save her. Along the way, he encounters an eclectic mix of footwear companions from various backgrounds who assist him in discovering the bravery to leave his shoebox and reunite with his sole-mate.
