A former drug-addicted escort, who has just been released from incarceration, goes back to the neighborhood that led to her downfall in order to find her missing child. Her former pimp exploits her vulnerability by offering her services to a local individual who has been asking questions, promising her son’s safe return in exchange. She agrees to the deal, only to discover that the local man is actually an undercover police officer aiming to take down the pimp, whom he holds responsible for his own daughter’s death.
