The deserted mansion of Wilfred Butler, a once affluent yet disturbed individual who took his own life in 1987, has been inherited by his grandson, Jeffrey. Since Wilfred’s passing, the house has remained neglected, obstructing developers eager to transform the land into a housing project. In the days leading up to Christmas 2012, long after Wilfred’s demise, Jeffrey and his attorney arrive in the town to discuss selling the estate. However, an axe-wielding madman has made the house his home and is not welcoming to outsiders.
